Highly recommend the downloaded versions. (idk how it's even working in browser)
********* HOW TO PLAY *********
Use the tabs on the left to build turrets, call in ordnance (mortars and health kits), and upgrade turrets and your base. You can press H to hide/unhide the tabs.
To have a turret or ordnance shot over from earth's space cannon, select the corresponding tab, click the turret/ordnance you would like shot over, then select the position you would like to have the turret/ordnance delivered to. You will be prompted to hit enter, and the space cannon will launch over the reinforcements.
To Upgrade, click the upgrade tab and then click on the item you would like to upgrade on the map. Click on a turret to see its upgrade, and click on the base itself to see the base upgrades, such as increasing ordnance damage and drill speed.
Last as long as you can! Your time is shown in the top right and will be saved once you return to the title screen so you can leave the game page and it will be stored.

DESCRIPTION
I did not get to finish much of what I had set out to do with this game in terms of features and polish (scope creep got me), but I was able to make a fully functional and really rather fun game to play!

Interesting. Thank you for going through the trouble of playing both versions. My main computer is broken right now, so I'll try and take a look at this soon. (working with 4GB RAM at the moment lol)
I enjoyed this game, It has potential.
This was really awesome. So the "changes" i'd make is that it seemed far to easy and then I waited for almost 5 mins without losing a gunner. But after a while it goes from far to easy to impossible... I think this is the most common issue with game jams.
The stuff i loved?
Music was awesome
Sound effects too
Art was really great, shadows made this game in my view
I loved the homing missles, the little jiggle (tutorial please?)
With some tuning maybe on mobile, I'd throw a little bit of money it's way :)

Yeah I definitely need to work on the difficulty curve. That was one of the things I did last and it shows haha.
The homing missile are actually just an adaptation from a kids can code tutorial I saw a while ago: https://kidscancode.org/godot_recipes/ai/homing_missile/. Then I just give them a lil force in the upwards direction so they wiggle haha.
Hi, it seems you forget to publish the .pck file for the windows project so we cant play the downloadable version.
Hey sorry about that. I am a mac user and din't know to include that. I just uploaded a .zip that includes the pck.
